Estevanico, a native of Azemmour on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, was sold into slavery circa 1522 when the town was under Portuguese control. He became the first known Arab and African explorer of North America, leaving a lasting mark on history.
Join us for an insightful evening featuring a keynote address by Dr. Abdelkader Jamoussi, followed by a documentary screening.
